Koh Lanta’s Best Dive Sites
KOH HAA*
A must-visit destination for scuba diving in Thailand, beloved by diving enthusiasts around the world, Koh Haa has captured the hearts of many. Known for its famous “Cathedral”, this awe-inspiring dive site features two large caverns that invite divers to explore its mysterious depths. With stunning coral walls, a serene lagoon suitable for divers of all levels, and an abundance of marine life, Koh Haa has established itself as a favored destination for underwater exploration. Highly recommended as one of the best dive sites in Thailand for all levels.
HIN DAENG / HIN MUANG (RED ROCK / PURPLE ROCK)*
These stunning dive sites showcase spectacular underwater scenery with mesmerizing red and purple corals adorning the depths that drop down to 60 meters. Explore the allure of this natural wonder and encounter magnificent creatures of the depth, such as manta rays, whale sharks, and rare sea life, including schools of pelagic fish and unique macro species. Pimalai’s Diver Center offers specialized Pimalai diving packages for those seeking an unforgettable experience at these sites. Due to the sites’ topography and conditions, we recommend Hin Daeng and Hin Muang for advanced divers with recent diving experience only.
KOH ROK ISLANDS
Indulge yourself in another superb diving in Mu Koh Lanta. The breathtaking Koh Rok islands, with its picturesque white sandy beaches, lush green trees, and crystal-clear waters, have long been a sought-after destination. Prepare to encounter a diverse array of marine life, including vibrant schools of snapper, moray eels and powder blue surgeonfish. Keep an eye out and you might spot our beloved animated fish Nemo, the playful clownfish, and even the marvelous presence of Turtles.
THE BIDA ISLANDS
Discover the hidden gems of the Phi Phi National Marine Park at the Bida Islands (Koh Bida Nok, Koh Bida Nai and Hin Bida). As you descend into the depth of crystal clear blue water, you’ll be greeted by the sight of vibrant schools of pelagic fish dancing around the reefs looking for their prey, the smaller glassfish. Keep your eyes peeled, as the dive site is also renowned for thrilling shark encounters. Don’t be surprised if a swift Black Tip darts past you, or if you stumble upon the majestic sight of a sleeping Leopard Shark during your dive. KLED KAEW SHIPWRECK PARK

The prices for day trips include full equipment rental, hotel transfers , breakfast, lunch and soft drinks on the boat.
Small diving groups, max 4 guests per guide.
Prices do not include Marine Park Fees.
Diving insurance is not included in the scuba diving prices.
Marine Park fees
Marine Park fees are charged daily by Koh Lanta Marine Park (Koh Ha, Hin Daeng/Hin Muang and Koh Rok) and Koh Phi Phi Marine Park (Koh Bida).

Dive Sites for Scuba Classes
The main dive site for our class is Koh Haa, one of the top diving sites in Thailand. When Koh Haa is closed for conservation (in July and August), we move our class to Bida island.




Boat departures
Pimalai’s Beach Jetty
From November to April, our dive boat can depart from Pimalai’s Beach Jetty for a surcharge of 1,000 Baht per person.
Saladan Pier
Between May and October, visitors will need to embark on a brief 30-minute trip from Pimalai to Saladan pier to access the dive boat.
Private Charter
If you prefer a private diving experience, all our diving boats are available for charter. Customize your own itinerary and enjoy an exclusive personalized diving adventure with your own group.
