In all 1 hr 30 mns with hotel round trip transfer.
What you should know first: An elephant weighs from 2.5 tons (for a female) to 4 tons (for a male) and they each eat about 250 kg of food and drink about 60 liters of water daily. The man directing the elephant is called a “mahoud” (or “cornac”); observe his feet tapping the back of the elephant ears: this is the way for the “mahoud” to give directions to the elephant. The “mahoud” also carries an unfriendly looking tool called a “takhor”; he may use it – though very rarely - to control the elephant if it is suddenly agitated; for instance an elephant, despite its huge size, can easily be frightened by animals such as monkeys, dogs or even cats! Please realize that this is used as a last resort and is about the only way for the mahoud to ensure that the elephant remains under control and can be safely ridden.
Possibly a few ants and mosquitoes bites
Not much water in the stream and at the waterfall during the dry season (April- June) usually.
